“Best New Artist of the Year”, Wendy Shay, has revealed that she’s heartbroken from the ill-treatment she has received from Ghanaians since her introduction into the music scene.

In an interview with Graphic Showbiz recently, the “Uber Driver” hit maker stated that after facing racism in Germany for most of her life, she did not expect Ghanaians to maltreat her the way they have.

“Back in Germany, I was fighting the issue of racism so I thought coming home would have been the better choice but I was welcomed with all these things and at a point, I asked myself why me. I just didn’t get it, everything I do, people had issues with it”, she said.

Wendy Shay however added that she’s toughened up and focused on her career and nothing will bring her down.
