#ModestFashion:10 Times Ms. Sheilla has proven to us “Hijabis” can cover up and still look fashionable

With the world changing rapidly and fashion changing day by day, “Hijab fashion” has become one of the fastest growing industry in the world of fashion.

Nike, the well-known U.S. sportswear company, for example has introduced a sports hijab and runway models such as Halima Aden are taking over the fashion world and doing so whilst covered up.

Often times, when dressing modestly, the very thing that comes to mind is too “simple and boring.” However, times have changed, and modest fashion is becoming mainstream with so many different chic and classy options to choose from.

Today, we’re putting the spotlight on Ms. Sheilla Yakubu, a modest fashion model from the Upper West Region who has proven to us that, you can always cover up and still slay.

Sheilla’s style is unique, edgy, street, chic and most importantly modest.

Speaking to Sheilla about where she gets her inspiration from, she said:

“I get a lot of inspiration from quite a number of people and my surroundings. But personally, I do what I do because I want my fellow Muslim women to know that you can dress modestly yet look classy and chic. You can cover up but yet come out looking Fashionable. Also you don’t need expensive clothes to look chic or classy. It’s all out putting the less expensive clothes together, styling them to come out looking great.”

Here are some of her looks that has drawn so much attention.
