The now UN International Elections Commissioner to Afghanistan was called to the bar on this day, October 1, 1994.

Reflecting on her journey in an Instagram post, Mrs Osei thanked God for staying with her through the entire journey.

“Reflecting today on God’s goodness, faithfulness and mercy through 25 years at the Bar. Father, I am truly grateful. For such an amazing and varied career- teaching assistant, barrister, lecturer, in-house solicitor, directorships, founder of a law firm, banking, National Commission for Civic Education, Electoral Commission of Ghana, and the UN. I’ve been blessed all through the way. Grateful for a career that has taken me to assignments and positions in Ghana, Canada, South Africa, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan and so many places in between. To all those being called to the Ghana Bar this week, wishing you a fruitful and blessed career. And to my class of 1994, May the next 25 years be even more blessed and fulfilling. Blessings all ?? ??,” she captioned a photo on Instagram.
