Kuami Eugene reveals his biggest fear is ‘losing relevance or falling down in the industry’

The Ghanian music industry has proven to be one that isn’t forever. Only a few artists have managed to stay relevant for decades.

It is therefore no surprise that Lynx Entertainment signee, Kuami Eugene, fears to be wiped out in a matter of years.

In a recent interview on ‘Starr Drive’ with KOD and Cookie Tee, the ‘Angela’ hitmaker expressed his desire to be a greater star than he is now.

“I can’t afford losing my relevance or falling down in this industry, I have been the one putting food on lots of people’s tables and it is very important to keep who I am for the benefit of others. I yearn to be greater than what I am now,” he stated.

“It’s an observable fact that stars are hailed today and forgotten the next minute, with a tall list of artists that can be mentioned as examples even here in Ghana. The fear also makes me work harder and also motivates me to plan ahead,” he added.

Kuami Eugene is currently promoting his newest single, ‘Obiaato’ which is already catching up.
