I spend about GH¢ 4,000 to record a song


Ghanaian Singer/Songwriter, Akwaboah has revealed that he spends about GH¢ 4,000 to record a single song.

According to the ‘Sarkcess Records’ signee in an interview on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM on Monday, his music demands a lot of technicalities, hence the said amount.

“The songs I do are very expensive. They aren’t the normal ¢1,000 or ¢2,000 songs.”

“I pay engineers, singers, trumpeters and even drummers before the mixing comes in,” the singer revealed.

Akwaboah is currently promoting his new single, ‘Gangsta Love.’

‘Gansta Love’ is the first song off his new album which he’s currently working on.
