Shatta Wale and M.anifest earn their first Grammy nominations

Grammy Nominations were announced last night and two of Ghana’s favourites scored themselves a nomination.

Shatta Wale earned his first Grammy’s nomination following the nomination of Beyonce’s “Lion King; The Gift” album as best “Best Compilation Soundtrack For Visual Media” and “Best Vocal Pop Album.”

The reggae/dancehall artist was featured on the “Already” from the album.

M.anifest also earned his Grammy’s nomination following the nomination of Nigerian singer, Burna Boy’s “African Giant” album in the best world album category.

M.anifest was also featured on the “Another Story” song on the album.

Recting to the news, Shatta Wale thanked Beyoncé for making it possible.

“At long last my name has entered #GRAMMYs ,thanks to the Beehive team !!!! Patience is truly the key !!! Pah pah pah pah,” he Tweeted.
