2020 is off to a good start for Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and Nigerian singer Yemi Alade as the two seem to have buried the hatchet after their infamous fall out 2 years ago.
In 2017, Yemi Alade “felt disrespected” when Sarkodie failed to show up to a video shoot for her song, Ego, which Sarkodie was featured on. She called Sarkodie “unprofessional” and cut off contacts with him.
However, in a move to bury the hatchet, Sarkodie shared a link to Yemi’s new song featuring Angelique Kidjo, titled ‘Shekere’ on his Twitter handle.
Yemi appreciated the gesture and Sarkodie asked for a follow back since she had unfollowed him on Twitter.
