
Ghana’s COVID-19 cases have increased to 1,279 with 134 recoveries according to updates on the Ghana Health Service website.
This update represents 125 confirmed new cases in the country.
Two new regions, the Oti and Western North regions have also recorded cases, increasing the number of regions affected by COVID-19 to 12 out of 16 regions in Ghana.
So far, 10 people are reported to have died from the disease.
Regional breakdown:
The Greater Accra region still leads with the highest number of positive cases, followed by the Ashanti and Eastern regions.
